The other night we were all in the living room together (a rare occasion) and for some reason Shane asked us why his nickname is Bud. Daddy explained to him that it was in honor of his great grandfather. Then Shane asked why Kassidys nickname was Punkin and daddy again explained that it was just something he had always called her from the day she was born. Although Kassidy appeared to be totally involved in the TV she blurted out that she wanted to change her nickname. Daddy told her ok, to what. And our precious almost 8 year old girl, who when she was born daddy could hold in one hand because she was so small said, "I want to change it to the angel of darkness but you can still call me Punkin."
