I Knew It !!!!!!

I always thought my kids were from a different planet but now I have proof!

Their people have finally arrived!

Kawaii - 9 weeks old

Kawaii is 3lbs 10oz and 12' nose to wiggly butt.

We weighed Snickers the cat today too and he is 22 pounds....he is getting way too big!
 

Just the Start of Summer Vacation

Shane is having a bad start to his summer vacation. First he threw up Friday afternoon just a few hours after getting out of school. Then today, his sister accidentally closed the bedroom door on his fingers. Just badly bruised we hope. And he actually said after I took this picture that he wishes he had school tomorrow so everyone at school could see his fingers!

Kawaii   -  8 Weeks Old

She is now 12.5 inches from nose to butt and weighs 3 lbs 3.4 oz.   She is growing so I guess we are use the correct fertilizer!

Well if you actually went back and read the above mentioned post then you know at the very end I was nervous for the day that "aunt Flo" would come to visit Kassidy for the first time because of her anxiety/obsession with blood. Well, aunt Flo showed up last month and surprisingly Kassidy handled it quite well. She had a billion questions and needed to be constantly reassured that she wasn't going to die, that her body was supposed to be bleeding the way it was but there was NO FREAK OUT.  Although now we have the anxiety over whether or not anyone can notice a "bulge" in the back of her pants....

Summer Vacation time 2014

Kassidy got home from last day of school as a 5th grader today around 11am ....she literally fell to her knees at the front door and yelled "Thank God I made it. No more school for 2 months." And then she asked me for a fist bump.  Shane got home from last day of school as a 3rd grader around 1pm... he literally fell on the floor like someone who just fainted and said, "Finally, it's over" and gave Kassidy a high 5.  Mommy thinking in her head "August 11th seems really far away right now".

 Kawaii means cute in Japanese

She is a Jackshund - her mom is a Dachshund and her dad is a Jack Russell Terrier

She was born on April 20th 2014 

(which is the 12th anniversary of my and Chris' first date)

She became a member of our family on June 7, 2014

She is 11" long nose to butt ( couldn't measure the happy tail) 
and she weighs in at a whopping 2 lbs 12.5 oz.
